Privacy Policy
What Book Cresta collects when you use this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

- We collect what you send us: your name, email and what you tell us about your book.
- We use it to reply to you, prepare a quote and do the work you hire us for.
- We do not sell your details or pass them to marketers.
- Analytics and advertising cookies stay off for visitors in the UK and Europe unless they agree.
- You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your details at any time.
Who we are
Book Cresta is an Amazon KDP publishing and book marketing service run by Mubashir, based in Pakistan and working with authors worldwide. In this policy “we” and “us” mean Book Cresta. For anything to do with your personal details, write to mubashir@bookcresta.com.
What we collect
Details you give us
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number if you add one, your book’s title or Amazon link, the service you are interested in, and your message.
- Booking a call: your name, email address and the time you choose. Calls are booked through Google Calendar, so Google also receives these details.
- Email and messages: anything you send us directly.
- Client work: if you hire us, the files and information needed for your project, such as your manuscript, cover files, book listing details and advertising data.
Details collected automatically
- Visit statistics: we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they are. Google sets cookies in your browser to do this. The reports we see are totals and do not name you.
- Advertising measurement: we use the Meta Pixel to see whether our adverts on Facebook and Instagram lead to visits and enquiries. It tells Meta that someone visited the site or sent an enquiry, and Meta sets cookies for this.
- Your choice: if you are in the UK or Europe, neither of these runs until you agree in the cookie banner. See Cookies below.
- Security: when a form is sent, your IP address is used for a few minutes to stop spam. It is not saved with your enquiry. Our hosting company also keeps standard server logs.
We do not ask for payment card details on this website, and we never ask for your Amazon password.
How we use your details
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange and hold your call.
- To prepare a quote and carry out the work you hire us for.
- To keep records of our work and our dealings with you.
- To understand how the website and our adverts perform, so we can improve them.
- To keep the website secure and free of spam.
We rely on your request or consent when you contact us, on your consent for analytics and advertising cookies, on our agreement with you when you become a client, and on our legitimate interest in running and improving our business.
Who we share details with
We do not sell personal details. We share them only with the services we need to run Book Cresta, and only as far as each one needs:
- Hostinger, which hosts this website and our email.
- Google, for call booking, Google Meet and website statistics.
- Meta, for measuring adverts, when we run them.
- Our team members, who help with production work and are bound to keep your information confidential.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it. Each of these companies handles data under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
Book Cresta’s own pages set no tracking cookies. The cookies below come from three services we use. If you are in the UK or Europe they are switched off until you agree, and refusing is one click. Elsewhere they are on unless you switch them off. Either way, you can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

We ask you again after six months, or sooner if what we use changes.
Your manuscript and account information
Anything you share for a project, including unpublished manuscripts, sales figures and advertising data, is treated as confidential. We use it only to do your work and do not share or publish it without your permission. Access to your Amazon Ads account is given by you through Amazon’s own user invitation, and you can remove it at any time.
How long we keep details
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and for our business records, normally no longer than two years after our last contact. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and legal reasons. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.
Where your details are held
Book Cresta is based in Pakistan, and the companies listed above store data in several countries. By contacting us you understand that your details may be handled outside the country you live in. We take reasonable steps to keep them secure, including encrypted connections to this website and limited access to our accounts.
Your choices and rights
- Ask for a copy of the personal details we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete them.
- Ask us to stop using them, or withdraw a consent you gave.
- Change your cookie choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website still works without them.
To use any of these, email mubashir@bookcresta.com. We reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This website is for authors and publishers. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their details.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
